Welcome to my website

Welcome to my new website. Why new? Because the journey of my career has evolved and what I do now, to enrich clients aesthetically goes far beyond how I started.
Since 1977 when I began my career as an art advisor to prestigious corporations, the client list throughout the United States and as far as the Middle East and Macao grew. Not only were there corporate collections, but art placement in the most renowned luxury hotels worldwide. This included guest rooms and public space art installations.  In 1981, Cornell University School of Hotel Administration recognized my expertise and requested I contribute an article of such to their Journal. Then in 1991, after two years at New York University Appraisal Studies for Fine and Decorative Arts, I joined the Appraisers' Association of America. In 2009, I became USPAP certified.
Throughout this journey, my keen eye began to seek the best accessories to further embellish the environment of clients. Procurement for these Items as amenity packages became a highly appreciated service.  After reflecting as to how the journey evolved from 1977, I wrote "Tales of Art Beyond the Frame" and self published on 11/11/11.
Today I wear all the hats and debrarhodessmith.com is more inclusive. Please visit the following pages to further appreciate each aspect of the exemplary aesthetic services I offer. Be sure to visit my contact page. I would love to hear from you.
